As the general contractor, ERK Construction Inc. successfully delivered a comprehensive bridge rehabilitation solution, complete with a full deck overlay, new approach slabs, and upgraded barriers and curbs, for Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors.

Challenges Overcome:
- Working over CN Rail required constant communication and coordination with CN Rail for daily work permits and rail flagging support while over the rail tracks
- HWY 11 is a high-load corridor, requiring constant interface with wide and over-sized loads and coordination with transport dispatch, pilot vehicles, and truck drivers
- Work on HWY 11, CN Rail overpass was subject to a few wildlife encounters, including bear and deer tracks left in freshly poured deck overlays
